My name is Henry and I am an awesome Chihuahua. I am actually a chocolate brown and tan dog but I am green on the inside. I love to recycle and help others do the same.
I hope my website will encourage all dogs, humans and even kitties to be green as well.

Henry's green tips for the new year
Now that we have started a new year, it's time to start recycling more! Here are some tips to make it easier to recycle, giving you no other choice than to be a good Earth citizen.
- Find a convenient place to collect recyclable items. Most things come from the kitchen, making it a good spot to set up a recycling center. I have a box that I put things to be recycled in. My mom uses my box too even though I tell her to get her own.
- Take leftover plastic bags back to grocery stores where they are collected and reused to make plastic lumber. You were going to the store anyway, weren't you?
- Check the bottom of plastic items to identify what type of plastic they are. If the type is not recycled at your local center (or if you are in Austin, check to see if you can put it in your recycle bin), consider ways to reuse the container.
- Divvy up recycling duties among family members and sort items on a daily basis ... if you have single-stream recycling, you don't need to sort - easy!
- And we all have one or more of those reusable canvas bags that you can take to the grocery store with you. You don't have to have enough bags to put all your groceries in - remember that every little bit helps.
